Here’s one of MONDO LUCHA’s weekend picks for a great time in our beloved Brew City.
It was only inevitable that our pals, the THE BREWCITY BRUISERS, need a bigger building to try to contain the big fun that is Roller Derby in Milwaukee. The 2010 Season Championship goes down this Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at the US Cellular Arena in downtown Milwaukee. Such a great old classic building, for some new classic Milwaukee awesomeness.
The Beatles, Elvis, and Frank Sinatra have all played center stage in the arena at one point, so having Milwaukee’s fast flying, heroes of the flat track headline the building on Saturday makes perfect sense to MONDO LUCHA!
Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door for adults; $9 for children 15 or younger. Tickets are available at the Milwaukee Theatre box office, 500 W. Kilbourn Ave. or through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 Doors open at 6 p.m.; the derby starts at 7.
